York wedding at Hornington Manor

Here in the north east of England, the 'Beast From The East' has had us all in its icy grip all week. This has made the impossible, possible - two blogs in as many days! I know this might sound a bit sadistic to many of you but I actually really like this kind of weather. Decent snow seems so rare now where we live, that I definitely try and embrace it when it does arrive. I also love the quality of the soft, warm light in the winter months, which got me thinking of Sarah & Angus' amazing wedding at Hornington Manor, just a couple of months back in December.

There's nothing better when a couple just gets you and the way you like to work. Sarah & Angus were exactly that. Whilst timings could have been a little tight to make the most of the available December light, they were so accommodating and couldn't have done more to make my day an absolute blast. They also made my life very easy indeed by choosing one of the very best local venues, filling it with beautifully designed detail and a load of thoroughly great guests!
